2. User Conduct

You agree to use the platform only for lawful purposes. You are prohibited from violating or attempting to violate the security of the Site, including accessing data not intended for you or logging into a server or account which you are not authorized to access.

3. Intellectual Property

The matching algorithms, design, and content on Skimmerhat are the exclusive property of Skimmerhat Inc. and are protected by copyright and trademark laws.

FEC Compliance

Important Notice: Skimmerhat facilitates contributions to federal candidates but is not a Political Action Committee (PAC). We act as a conduit for your direct donations.

1. Reporting Requirements

Federal law requires us to use our best efforts to collect and report the name, mailing address, occupation, and name of employer of individuals whose contributions exceed $200 in a calendar year.

2. Contribution Limits

Contributions to federal candidates are limited by law. For the 2025-2026 cycle, individuals may contribute up to $3,300 per election to a federal candidate. Skimmerhat's platform automatically enforces these limits to ensure compliance.

3. Prohibited Contributions

Contributions from corporations, labor unions, federal government contractors, and foreign nationals (non-green card holders) are strictly prohibited.
